It’s been a while.
My hands feel a bit rusty, but I still love to draw. I’ve been busy changing nappies, running on little sleep and swimming in piles and piles of laundry. Busy taking care of a personal project, Elio.
Watching these two humans grow has been the best gift. A father who shows up with so much intention, who adapts to every change with patience, who listens, who stays calm through so many difficult moments. A curious son who gives the best damn hugs, who teaches us to notice the little things in life and who is an everyday reminder to stay present and be playful.
It’s been a while since I last posted here. I’ve been navigating the wonders and challenges of motherhood while watching these two humans grow, but I still love to draw and feel very grateful to witness moments like this with these two souls.
